The internationally acclaimed Bude Jazz Festival offers an impressive array of jazz entertainment. Traditional styles with some mainstream and contemporary sessions. Four New Orleans style Street parades, jazz services, some free sessions. Free Jazz bus for ticket holders.

10 mile Open Canoe Marathon with circular route from Wadebridge and back along Camel Estuary featuring Open Canadian Doubles, Single and Double Kayaks, and single and double Racing Skis. Contact - Shoreline

- 20th October - Bude Canoe Sprint
Four race categories featuring K1 Marathon, K2 & C2 marathon, (Canal/river basin) K1 Sprints and K2 & C2 Sprints (lower Canal basin). All ages welcome from veterans down to juniors with free T-shirts for all competitors and Race trophies and awards. Contact - Shoreline

- 16th December - Christmas Cracker 10km run
The best 10 km multi-terrain run in the SW - starting 10.30 am from Crooklets Beach with around 80 runners expected from all age groups. Course covers beaches, canal towpaths, farm lanes and coastal paths. Contact - Shoreline
